Revolution Medicines has reached another regulatory milestone with RASONQUE\u2122 (Daraxonrasib)<\/strong>. The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has granted RASONQUE, in combination with gemcitabine and nab-paclitaxel<\/strong>, Breakthrough Therapy designation<\/strong> for first-line treatment of metastatic pancreatic cancer.<\/p>

FDA designation shifts focus to first-line treatment in pancreatic cancer<\/h3>

The new Breakthrough Therapy designation covers RASONQUE in combination with gemcitabine and nab-paclitaxel (GnP)<\/strong> in patients with metastatic ductal adenocarcinoma of the pancreas who have not previously received treatment for metastatic disease.<\/p>

The designation is intended to facilitate\u2014and potentially accelerate\u2014the development and review of therapies for serious conditions when preliminary clinical data indicate a substantial improvement over existing treatment options.<\/p>

Importantly, Breakthrough Therapy designation does not constitute approval of RASONQUE for first-line treatment.<\/strong><\/p>
